A wonderful old fashioned scene is painted on the front with children receiving their Christmas gift and a boy enjoying his new rocking horse. This Russian Santa is hand carved from solid linden. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and embellishments. Once cured the Santa carving is signed by the artist.
