"Santa and the Snowqueen in frosted, wintery, ice blue tones with a touch of pastel accents is stunning from both the front and back. The Snowqueen sits on the front side with a young boy and girl. On the back of this piece she rides in her horse drawn charriot over an illuminated village scene and under a crescent moon. Santa has a beautiful face and his eyes match perfectly the wintery blue tones of this frosted Santa. 16 inches tall and quite heavy. This Russian Santa made for Reasons to Believe is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist."
