"Joys of Christmas - children bringing joy to the season. This dignified Santa holds firmly onto his stuffed toy bag and walking staff. Painted in green, white and brown, Santa's toy bag pictures a quaint Russian snow covered village accented with evergreens laced in red bows. Santa's walking staff is gold with shades of teal accented with a stately white snowflake. The scene on the front of Santa's coat shows two happy little girls playing cheerfully with presents while holding a kitten. The background shows a snow covered village below as they play in the chilly weather. On the back of Santa's coat is a scene of a young boy sledding with much delight down the hill while a cheerful girl builds a snowman. Santa's expression is one of contentment as he knows the coming days are filled with love, joy and happiness. This wooden Santa made for Reasons to Believe is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and signed by the artist."
