"Christmas Fun - a large and heavy, beautifully painted Santa filled with scenes of Christmas fun and joy. Santa stands contently holding his Christmas staff in one hand and a tiny blue bird in the other. The scene on the front shows two young girls building a snowman as he comes to life and smiles fondly upon them. Blue birds sing in a nearby tree as the girls play. A snowy Russian village is situated up on a hill in the background. On the back of Santa's intricately detailed red coat is a scene of two children stopping at the top of the sledding hill to play in the snow among the evergreens. Their joyful expressions show their excitement this time of year as Christmas draws nearer. This wooden Santa made for Reasons to Believe is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and signed by the artist."
