Santa and the Holy Family. Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus in a stable with a little lamb by their side and doves looking on. This Santa has a beautiful face and eyes, carrying a staff in one hand and a gold toybag thrown over his shoulder. He's painted in a unique floral pattern in Christmas tones of red and green with white accents and god detail. Russian Santas made for Reasons to Believe are hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist.
