Beautiful blue Santa Claus carving featuring Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden. Uniquely painted in florals with tones of blue, white accents and gold detail this winter blue Santa also has a wonderful face and eyes. A winter scene on the front features adoring birds and rabbits flocking around Father Frost and the caring Snow Maiden is captured in fine detail. All Russian Santas made for Reasons to Believe are hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist.
