Authentic golden leaf detail and this Santa is inlaid with 538 semiprecious stones: SERPENTINE, GREEN - 59, JASPER -43, TURQUIOSE -29, CORNELIAN (SARD), ROSE-15, AQUAMARINE -66, CORAL ROSE -41, AGATE BLACK (ONYX) - 18, CORAL RED - 28, SODALITE, GREEN - 91, RHODONITE -83, PEARL – 65. We've spent hours looking over this Santa and it is absolutely stunning from every angle. This Russian Santa made for Reasons to Believe was hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa was meticulously hand painted and inlaid with the gemstones and detaild with authentic gold leaf. Months of work have gone into creating this extraordinary collectible Santa. It is signed by Natalia on the bottom.
