Delivering the first gifts of Christmas this large, very majestic Santa carries a handful of presents and a staff with tree on top. He's painted in great detail with Christmas reds and accented with gold and white and textured detail from his hat down to his ornate black boots. Santa has a happy expression and face with big blue eyes and large white beard. This is a very robust Santa at 16 inches in height. All Russian Santas made for Reasons to Believe are hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist.
