"Santa with Christmas Tree and Village Landscapes - beautiful winter blue tones and captivating scenes on both the front and back. Wooden Russian Santas made for Reasons to Believe are hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime. Once carved and sanded the Santa is then hand painted and finished in individually unique detail with numerous coats of paint and sealer and finally signed or initialed by the artist. In some cases where the artist makes more than one of the same Santa there may be very subtle variations in the painting or carving."
