On the front of Santa's coat is a scene of children gathered closely by the side of a beautiful Christmas Angel. The wide-eyed children remain genial and composed in her presence. The Christmas Angel gently holds a small golden Christmas Tree and smiles in a secretive way. Perhaps she already knows the joy Christmas Day will soon bring. The children by her side are dressed in traditional Russian attire, the girls in long dresses and coats with delicate scarves wrapped over their heads and the boy in a long coat with stripped pants tucked neatly into his boots. Painted on the back of this Santa's coat is a scene of children working together to help decorate the village Christmas Tree. Curious birds gather on glistening branches to watch as the children carefully place ornaments on the tree. In the distance are village homes with snow-laden roofs from a recent snow fall.
