Santa's Snowmaiden - Painted mostly in winter blues with the back a deep midnight blue (almost looks black) Santa's blue eyes come to life and fill his pleasant expression. The little girl on front has equally beautiful eyes and is painted and accented perfectly - just look at the close up of her. The two children on the back of this piece, along with several squirrels, are painted beautifully as well. Silver accents throughout. The lacquer finish makes all the colors and accents even that much more dramatic. A stunning Santa in every aspect. This Russian Santa is completely hand carved from solid linden, hand painted and signed by the artist.
