Santas coat, hat and toybag are also painted in shades of blue, frosted with white. Even Santa's eyes are a striking blue. This wooden Santa made for Reasons to Believe is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and signed by the artist."
