"A very clean and tasteful Santa holding a staff and toybag. Painted in detail with gold accents and sealed with a matte finish. All Russian Santas made for Reasons to Believe are hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist. At times we will request an artist to make several of a specific Santa design. Since they are still hand crafted one at a time there may be very subtle variations in the carving or painting."
