Santa Nativity and Angel. Large and well detailed Santa carving with Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus and 3 wise men on the front. An Angel is beautifully painted on the back of this piece. All Russian Santas made for Reasons to Believe are hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist.
