Santa of Distinction - This beautifully lacquered piece draws out the rich, deep red and gold tones of his traditional Santa outfit. He is presented as a man of great distinction allowing both dignity and love in his strong expression. His bag of toys is filled with yesteryears child's wishes, a toy soldier, rocking horse and more. The carving and finish work in this piece is equally remarkable. This Russian Santa is completely hand carved from solid linden with traditional carving knives, chissles and gouges. After sanding, each piece is hand painted in detail and signed by the artist. Each of these unique, hand-crafted Santas are a one of a kind work of art.
