A very large (20 inches tall), beautifully carved and painted Santa Claus. Rich red base coat with an incredible amount of detail work and shading of leaves, flowers, and trim. He is a very happy Santa with friendly blue eyes. With his detailed cape over his shoulders he really does look like the Prince of Giving. Extremely well done in every aspect. This Russian Santa is completely hand carved from solid linden with traditional carving knives, chissles and gouges. After sanding, each piece is hand painted in detail and signed by the artist. Each of these unique, hand-crafted Santas are a one of a kind work of art.
