Old World Father Christmas. An uncharacteristicly large candlestick Santa carving from Susan Mattix. See the group picture to gauge his scale if familiar with most of Susan's work we've had in past years. Beautifully finished and detailed with a twisted hat tassel and bell, a stocking filled with candy canes, a pocket watch and gingerbread figure at his side. Susan's trademark long and highly detailed beard and antique finishing techniques give this fellow an old English charm from the past. A one of a kind Santa creation, designed, carved, painted, sealed and signed by Susan Mattix.
