Black Santa and Airplane by Debbie Barr. A traditionally, red dressed African American Santa carving holding a model airplane, also carved from wood. Solid wood, hand carved and hand painted Santa Claus by Debbie Barr. Debbie Barr resides in Distant, Pennsylvania. She's been a woodcarver for 28 years and a sculptor for 12, teaching workshops throughout the region. Debbie has also written two books and two educational CD's on woodcarving woodcarving subjects ranging from caricature women, miniature animals, carvng faces, and carving a black bear. Santas have always been a favorite subject of hers as they are 'great fun to create'!
