Mike Shipley Santa Claus Carvings

Mike Shipley has been carving Santa figurine characters since 1976. He is a self-taught carver and is well known for his distinctive clean cut style of carving. Mike has written and published several instructional wood carving books. His carvings are each done entirely by hand and finished with his own homemade stain. These wonderful Santa carvings come from the heart of the Ozarks where they are still done one at a time and each one is an original. Each year Mike Shipley creates and carves many new Santa designs, in all shapes, sizes, colors.
